All Aboard! 2015 CBC Contract Rally

All Union Members and their Family are asked to join the CBC Contract Rally at the Bayfront Convention Center this SATURDAY JUNE 13, 2015 12:00 PM.  Motorcycle Rally leaves the 506 Hall Parking lot at 11:00 AM.  All riders should arrive no later than 10:45 AM.

In Preparation for Saturday’s Rally, we ask that Union Members stop by the Union Hall anytime between 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM to assist in making Rally Signs.

Gearing up for GE Contract Negotiations

We invite all 506 members to visit the newly created UE webpage designed specifically for our upcoming Negotiations with GE.  The page provides information on issues that come up during national contract negotiations, and important background information on the UE-GE Contract. There are also videos of short interviews with UE members talking about the problems they’ve experienced with GE’s current healthcare plan. Keep checking the page, because more information will be added as the start of bargaining approaches. In June during the negotiation process, the page will also provide daily reports from the bargaining table.

UE Local 506 Members Bowling Tournament

Come out and socialize with your fellow brothers and sisters at our UE Local 506 Members Bowling Tournament.  There are a limited number of lanes, so be sure to arrive early!  Registration begins at 9:30 am with bowling starting at 11 am.  All team entries close March 27th, so be sure to get your team together and fill out the registration form!  See you at Eastway Lanes on April 4th!

2014 Toy Drive a Huge Success

The members of UE Local 506 have had a long standing practice of serving and giving back to the community year-round, and 2014 was no exception.  We ended the year with the annual Holiday Toy Drive which was able to benefit four Erie non-profits:
Community Services Fund
Martin Luther King Center
Erie Home for Children
Union City Children Support

Thanks to the members of UE Local 506 we were able to help ensure that local families and their children had a memorable Holiday.
Toys and monetary donations were distributed on Friday December 12, 2014.
Thanks to all the members who helped to make this year’s event one of the best to date!

Fees and Facts:
$30 Weekend pass for rider $20 additional per passenger
Includes primitive camping (no water or electric available), over 55 miles of trails, Chicken BBQ dinner Saturday.
OR
$20 Saturday only pass per rider $10 per passenger
Includes camping and dinner on Saturday
(Dinner can be purchased for non-riding guests for $5)
*****Limited to the first 100 paid applicants*****
-Hotels, groceries and fuel less than 10 minutes away
-Waivers need to be signed prior to arrival (Unrelated riders under 18 must have notarized waiver)
-Insurance and registration recommended but not required ***Helmets are required***
